Owl City – Update
Owl City will be releasing his 3rd Album on the 14th of July. Entitled “Ocean Eyes” it will be his first album since signing with a major record label.
He recently released two single’s called “Hot Air Balloon” and “Strawberry Avalanche”. Here is one of them.

Hey Katie, thanks for looking at the site I belive it’s a picture of the worlds only 7 star hotel in Dubai called Burj Al Arab (been my dream for a few years to go there!)

my dad went to dubai and he stayed at a hotel but he rraly loved the burj al arab and said he wished he couldve stayed there. he said dubai is awsome and i wish i lived there now. when i saw this on the album cover i showed him and he said i wonder how much they paid to get that but ya just sharing this with you because i love dubai and owl city.

I lived in Dubayy for five years and have to say that hotel is so tacky… The inside is all gold, purple, and green paint. There are water jets that form archways over the escalators, old German & British tourists paying their $50 each to just gain access for a tour, and close to a $1,000 for their most basic room. His music is fantastic as we love electro in the ME, but I wouldn’t be putting up a picture of somewhere he’s never been. Cause if you look in the opposite directions you’d realize all that flash is dominated by a sea construction cranes, Indian labors and congested highways.

Im FROM Dubai, so ive been here 19 yrs. There are no basic rooms in the hotel.. sure dubai is currently under construction, but most of the construction cranes in the sea next to burj al arab r gone now that the islands are done.. the labors take the job willingly knowing all conditions, we need labors, they need jobs, it works.. wat city doesn’t have congested highway, Dubai is LA on steroids :p now most of the construction and projects are on hold due to the financial crises, but they managed to open the metro and dubai mall.. best time to visit dubai is in winter around December-March, its too hot in summer, like 40 degrees hot.. i stayed for a night in burj al arab, amazing view, a lot of beach entertainment, in-room snooker table and Jacuzzi, etc.. Owl city rox!!!

I love the song Fireflies, and I love living in Dubai. I was suprised to see the Burj Al Arab on the cover, I guess he is in with the Sheikhs
The Burj Dubai is opening tonight and Im really looking forward to it. Maybe we’ll see that on a music cover sometime soon?
