Vampire Weekend – New Album
We’re really pleased to see Vampire Weekend release a new album, the first self titled album was released in January 2008 so they’re well overdue some new material. At last “Contra” has been released, it an enjoyable album, more effects are used on this album, you can clearly hear that Vampire Weekend have developed since there last effort, there are some changes to their sound but they do maintain the same bright and happy vibe that made their first album so enjoyable but with a few slower paced tracks such as such as “Taxi Cab” and “I Think Ur A Contra” thrown in as well.
Overall I would highly recommend this album, enjoy White Sky to hear a preview of the new album.
