Hey all, thought you’d like to know how (one of our) favorites, Mr Adam Young (Aka Owl City) has reached number 1 in America this week, beating the likes of Jay Sean, Jason Derulo and The Black Eyed Peas, Wow i say!

He has also annouced a UK tour this week starting Febuary next year, so if you can go, please go! =D its his first time in the UK so go show him what us crowds are like!

Apolgies for the lack of replies, we will try and catch up when possible, we are just Very Busy.

(p.s. i saw 3Oh!3 yesterday, and they were very good live, so i’d recomment them to anyone who likes Electro-Rap…Pop.)

Port Blue is the ambient side project of Adam Young, better known for his musical projects Owl City and Swimming With Dolphins. Photography is also a big part of this project, hence the picture above.

This is music to sleep to, to gaze out to the sea with, to imagine flying through clouds in your daydreams, the music you would hear in airports and supermarkets and the sound of the oceans.

Swimming With Dolphins was formed in early 2008 by Adam Young and his friend Austin Tofte. bringing together electronica and powerpop, they form songs that will stick in your mind for days. They released their E.P ‘Ambient Blue’ in 2008 and are currently touring the US, including Bamboozle.

This band is definatly not going to be falling in the sea and swimming, they are going nowhere but up.

This is going to be a 3 part blog.

Adam Young, also known as Owl City, also runs two other musical projects, Port Blue, and Swimming with Dolphins, which i will write about later on. But Firstly, Owl City.

Owl City is a electronic pop musical project from Minnesota, America. With quirky lyrics and light synths and strings with complicated fast-paced beats, Owl City has reached success relatively quickly. Formed in early 2007, Mr.Young has reached the top of the myspace unsigned charts, gathered over 10 million plays and released two albums called ‘Of June’ and ‘Maybe I’m Dreaming’.

Having recently signed to Universal, expected big things from this guy.
